With so many demands on today's families, parents need all the help they can get. That's why we're America's largest nonprofit child care provider. Through our affordable child care programs, we create a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn, grow and develop social skills.

BULLITT COUNTY BACK TO SCHOOL PLAN

We're all excited to get back to school! Bullitt County Schools will return to in-person classes with a transition week.

September 28- October 2
  • K-2nd grade students will return to in-person classes.
  • 3rd-6th grade students will remain with remote learning.

*During this week, the Y will continue to provide care from 6 am-6 pm for anyone that needs care and will provide help and guidance with school work from bell time to bell time.

Before and after school care will be available for the children returning to class.

October 5th- on
  • All kids will be back to in-person classes and the Y will provide before and after school care.

FULL DAY VIRTUAL LEARNING CHILDCARE PROGRAM

In addition to our Before and After School program, we are also providing a full-day childcare program to assist your child with their virtual learning during Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI).

Registration fee per child: April 15-June 1, 2020: $15; June 2-June 30, 2020: $30; After July 1, 2020: $45

In-service and snow days are included in the total number of days attended for the week. In-service and snow day only rate is $35 per day, per child.

HOURS OF OPERATION

Our regular child care program hours are 6 am to the starts of your child's school day, and from school dismissal to 6 pm. We offer continuous care from 6 am-6 pm during school breaks.

BULLITT COUNTY NON-TRADITIONAL INSTRUCTION (NTI) CHILDCARE

The Bullitt County Family YMCA School Age Child Care Program is stepping up to help our families during NTI. Our staff will help our kids with logging in to their school work and Zoom calls as well as assisting with the material when possible. We will also be providing downtime for kids to play and have fun as they normally do at our programs These are unusual times, but the YMCA is adapting so that we can serve our kids and families as best as possible.
